What does it mean to stand in the light?
Isaiah 5:20 shows that evil planet is a planet of distortion.
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
In Job 9:24 we see that if the judges faces are being covered up, you get to a place where you're reprimanded for speaking out about evil.
24 The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges thereof; if not, where, and who is he?
If we want to be in the light, we have to identify what needs to be healed.
The breach has to be repaired. We have to be able to recognize it and call it out. What happens to a wound if it doesn't heal? It gets infected. In Isaiah 58:12, we see that it's our responsibility to restore what was broken. It's past time for us to stamp out wickedness and darkness.
12 And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
If you are a child of light, anyone that's in your vicinity spreading, celebrating, or promoting darkness, it's up to you to speak up and shed some light on the situation.
Don't confuse the constructs of bondage with freedom. Matthew 5:13 shows how we shouldn't lose our savor. We can't sit back and see wickedness, allow it, and not say anything. Those good works are speaking out about wickedness. YAH is asking us to swiftly stand up for justice and righteousness. We must do what Psalm 81 says, and stand in the congregation of the mighty.
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Matthew 25:1-10 teaches us that we should take every opportunity we can to get into the Word and learn all that we can. There's no excuse for being unprepared and careless. Don't forget that you have to add works to your faith.
1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
YAH is not accepting children that aren't His. When you are born of the Word, the Law is in you. What characteristics do the children that aren't YAH's have? Galatians 5 shows what their fruits are.
1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
8 This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.
9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
10 I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you.
13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
Why would YAH want to dwell in an unclean vessel? You can't be used if you're still being disinfected. Him bringing us out of death is not about us, it's for His holy namesake.
John 8 and Psalm 130 both speak to the love that YAH has for us. He has enough love to spare us all from death.
1 Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.
2 Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
3 If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
4 But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
5 I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
6 My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
7 Let Israel hope in the Lord: for with the Lord there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
YAH doesn't require anything from us that He wouldn't do as shown in 1 John 2:6.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
Ecclesiastes 8:11 shows that we can't be mad at YAH for executing judgment.
11 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
Why turn against your family when you know that turning against them is bringing shame to the entire household? Why do this to YAH? Would you want your child to do that to you?
Has our Father seen any justice yet for the crimes done against Him? When it's time for Him to proclaim justice, which side are you standing on?
YAH has our best interest in mind, why would we not want to consult with Him? It's up to us to fully commit to the side of righteousness.
